Kitten Update
I heard that Harley and Milo were adopted last week together. The vet is not sure the people who adopted them won't bring them back because of the litter box training problems. Hopefully the kittens will adjust quickly to their new home and it won't be a problem. My sister brought a domesticated, declawed cat from my aunt's farm and I was going to foster her but she is still at the vet. I haven't really talked about foster her to anyone and am not sure if I am up to it but it is a possibility. Keep the kittens in your prayers!

No News
So I heard today that Milo and Harley are still in the adoption cage at the vet. They said they weren't well litterbox trained but my sister and I decided that they just don't do well with change and it takes them a little while to adjust. I'm hopefully going to go visit them sometime soon because I miss them and they must be lonely.... But they are still available for adoption if you have a good home for them!

harley and mario?
I was going to take the kittens to the vet today but because I have a ton of schoolwork to do by tomorrow I guess I will take them in Wednesday. It is going to be so sad and lonely without them here.... I have bee trying to convince one of my housemates Andy to adopt them so they can stay here and I even offered to clean the litter all the time but he claims to know nothing about cats and is concerned about taking care of them when I am gone. I have also been trying to convince my cousin to adopt them but she has a really old cat and is already tired of cleaning the litter so I am not so sure she will want them....
Milo (Mario on the site because there was already a Milo)

a few more days
So my sister convinced me to keep the kittens a little longer- hoping she can make it home this weekend to see them before they get adopted out. Understandable. Saying she gets attached to animals is a huge understatement (but since she is the only person who actually might read this i'll leave it at that).... I was looking through all the pictures I have taken of them recently to decide which ones to upload and got bored so I'll upload some photos later. I have a big fur real friends cat and introduced her to Milo and Harley yesterday. They seemed very curious but since I couldn't get it to hiss on command they eventually lost interest and moved on. Time for class!

last night with the kittens
So I got a call from the vet tonight that they finally got the adoption cage built at the vet and I can bring Milo and Harley in tomorrow. I am happy that they are finally going to be able to find a good home but am going to miss them so much. I also feel bad for my sisters because they raised them and hand fed them for weeks and won't be around to say goodbye to them. I have been taking a bunch of pictures of them and will upload them sometime soon. I have also been looking into fostering more kittens and will let you know how the rest of my time with the kittens goes.

kitten update
The kittens have been back from the vet for a couple days now (you can see Harley's shaved belly from the surgery in the photo below) and I haven't had any trouble with them lately. I brought out an old cat toy- a little red ball- last week for the kittens to play with. I didn't think they would enjoy it because it didnt make noise and didn't roll very well or anything but they have had a blast with it. They toss it around and carry it in their mouths across the room... It is so cute! I think they reason they really enjoy it is because there is only one and the other kitten doesn't have it. Milo and Harley have also been getting better acquainted with my older cats but Kibby still hisses at them if they get too close. I am working on getting the kittens' info uploaded on petfinder so they can find a forever home before they get too big.
